TWO ALARM FIRE DESTROYS HOME

Firefighters were enjoying the Texan’s game when just before it ended a house fire was dispatched on Greenridge and South Williams Road. North Montgomery and Cut and Shoot Fire Department responded to the scene. A column of smoke could be seen as they were en route. The first trucks arrived on Greenridge and found a single story home fully involved.

Due to the threat of the garage area catching and manpower a second alarm was sounded bringing in Caney Creek and Lake Conroe Fire Departments.

The fire was soon brought under control and was a total loss.

The home owner said the home was not being lived in but was still furnished as they were living next to it.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office will investigate.
