Remember Buck, the dog that got shot with a shotgun loaded with birdshot, tied to a fence post inside a garbage bag and left to die?  Well, in honor of Buck, he is promoting SUPERBUCK WEEKEND to get people to support their local animal shelter or rescue organization.  For us folks living in Montgomery County, that would be the Montgomery County Animal Shelter located at 8535 State Hwy 242 just east of I-45.  

RULES FOR SUPERBUCK WEEKEND:

1. In honor of Buck, go adopt a pet from your local shelter or rescue organization this weekend.

2. If you can’t adopt, consider becoming a foster. Many of these animals just need TIME.

3. If you can’t adopt or foster, make a donation of food, litter, used towels, paper towels, newspaper, paper towels, or money.

4.  Volunteer to be a dog walker.

BASICALLY SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHELTER/RESCUE ORGANIZATION. DO IT FOR BUCK

2. Give a shout out to the rescue organization you have helped.

3. Tell us who you are rooting for in the Superbowl.
