UPDATE-CARJACKING

Police are still looking for the maroon 2000 Chevrolet pickup from the carjacking in the Walmart parking lot on Louetta and Interstate-45. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office the mother had come out of Walmart and put the little girl in the child safety seat. That is when another vehicle pulled up blocking her between the basket. A black male grabbed her keys and a fight ensued. The mother was desperately fighting to get to her daughter when the male punched her in the face. As he drove off the mother was seen running next to the vehicle. When the driver realized the child was in the vehicle he stopped and threw the child out. The child who appeared ok ran back to her mother.

The truck was last seen traveling north on I-45.
