UNKNOWN GAS LEAK IN PORTER

Since 6:30 p.m. multiple calls have come in on a gas leak in the Porter area. At this time Porter Fire Department is attempting to locate the source. Reports are coming in from a wide area including Kingwood, Oakley, Porter, Valley Ranch.

As of 7:30 p.m. the source has yet to be found. With winds calm out of the East-southeast and very high humidity which is holding it to the ground the odor most likely will be smelled shortly in the Conroe area. Houston Fire Department reports no incidents and have not had any reports south of Lake Houston.
