UPDATE-Ohio Sex Offender / Fugitive Arrested in EMC for Child Pornography
An investigation by members of the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) team led to the Wednesday night arrest of an Ohio man, living in an RV in the Wild Country RV Park at 19315 FM 1485 in New Caney.
Shane Anthony Trumble, 23, is charged with four counts of second-degree felony Possession/Promotion of Child Pornography and as an out of state Fugitive From Justice due to an active felony warrant for Possession of Child Pornography from Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
Members of the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office were assisted in the investigation by Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Office and two members of the Montgomery District Attorney’s Office.
Around 6 p.m. Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at the travel trailer in the Wild Country RV Park occupied by Shane Trumble, his father and his grandmother. Police were in full uniform and identified themselves as Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables. They saw the suspect and ordered him to step out of the trailer, but his grandmother, Cynthia Trumble, pointed what appeared to be a handgun towards officers and refused to drop it, stating she would shoot them. After ignoring repeated instructions to drop the weapon, she finally complied and was taken into custody. The gun Cynthia Trumble pointed at police, risking her life to keep them from her grandson, turned out to be BB gun.
Cynthia Sue Trumble, 62, of New Caney is charged with Interfere W/ Public Duties, a class B misdemeanor.
The search warrant yielded approximately 20 gigabytes of child pornography, including multiple images of small children performing sex acts. A small trash can belonging to Shane Trumble was also removed from the residence after it was found to contain dozens of pairs of children’s underwear.
Shane Trumble is a registered sex offender in the state of Ohio and was required by law to register locally after he moved, but failed to do so. He is known to have been in this area at least since June 2012.
Once the judicial process is complete in Texas, Shane Trumble will be extradited to Ohio to face trial for his crimes in that state.
Cynthia Trumble has been released on $1,000 bond.
Pointing a BB gun at deputies sounds like “Suicide by Cop” to me. Not very smart of Granny, not to mention the fact that she was protecting this creep instead of turning him in.
There is a familial resemblance there. He has her eyes (and probably her panties.)
Granny looks pretty comfortable in the jailhouse uniform; she must not be a stranger to them.
The so called RV Parks in our areas are becoming a hotbed hideout for all sorts of criminals. I guess they think they can hide there since the places are so tucked away and full of other “interesting people” like BB Gun pointing Momma. Yep , she sure raised her son “right”…NOT.
