TONIGHT AT THE TEXAN THEATER

The Texan Theater in Cleveland is one of the oldest movie theatres in Texas, opening in 1939.. Due to most current films coming out in digital formats now very little is produced on the old film. To upgrade to digital the cost is close to $85,000.

People of the community who have visited the Texas since they were children are working together to keep the doors open and help

Cliff Dunn the owner doesn’t sell tickets as you enter, he also works the concession stand where large drinks are still $2.00 and a large popcorn is $3.00 . For $1.50 you can even get a refill.

‎"Here Comes the Boom" is playing at The Texan Theater tonight and Saturday at 7:00 and 9:00 and Sunday through Thursday at 7:00. Tickets are adults $5 and kids $3. Come on out and bring the family!

Former collegiate wrestler Scott Voss is a 42-year-old apathetic biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher, Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella – but in his quest, Scott gains something he never expected as he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.
