ANOTHER EVADING IN MC ENDS IN CRASH

Earlier today Judge Hamilton sentenced Kevin Larsen to thirty years for evading arrest causing a high speed pursuit. Since last week six others tried to flee but were arrested.

Just after 8 p.m. tonight Jarrod Andrew Zamora, 20, found out the hard way about evading arrest. Oak Ridge Police initiated a pursuit of Zamora on a 2003 Honda motorcycle in the area of Hanna and Robinson n in South Montgomery County. The pursuit was short lived. As Zamora approached Pateway Drive where the road has a small bend Zamora tried to be like the famous stunt motorcycle driver Evel Knievel .

Hitting the culvert pipe at Pateway Zamora launched the motorcycle landing almost fifty feet away scattering pieces and parts. He was transported to Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands in critical condition.

As DPS investigated the crash they were able to determine the motorcycle was stolen from Harris County.
